Obituary for Barbara Cosme

Barbara Cosme, 70, of Reading, passed July 2nd in her residence.

Born in Coatesville, PA she was the daughter of the late William H. Johnson Jr. and Cleo L. (Brown) Johnson.

Barbara was a member of St. Peter’s RCC, Reading. She worked for the Reading Housing Authority for 32 years, retiring in 2011.

She is survived by a son, Antonio Cosme husband of Margarita Cosme, daughters, Yolanda Comse-Hines wife of Sebastian Hines and Yasmine Leandry, 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, brothers, William Johnson III, Nolan Johnson and Kevin Johnson and a sister, Angela Johnson. Also a host of nieces and nephews.

A prayer service will be held Friday July 8th at 1:30 PM in Henninger Funeral Home, Inc. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.

Viewings will be held Thursday July 7th from 11 AM to 3 PM and Friday July 8th from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM in the funeral home.
